Am i supposed to see my avatar next to my header "Welcome back xxxx. You lasy visited on ....."

If not - why not - its cool to see your avatar on the top while surfing the forums this way u know u still logged in without having to look @ the fine print.

That would be a major waste of space, IMO...

If you're not logged in, that whole table that the "welcome back" text is in disappears.

It shows the image if u have no pm's cause i think that
a)looks better
b)easier for us to understand
c)Maintains page format

Have to agree that this would be completely useless, you can tell if you aren't logged in anyway for several reasons:

Can't see view latest posts
Can't see the main table uptop (as dz quite rightly said)
it says 'login'
you can't see, 'user cp'
you can't write in threads .

yeah i agree would be kinda pointless and having the msgplus icon near the welcome bar maintains the house style of the page and looks kwl, if you wanna see your avatar, surley just go to user cp?

Somebody's too used to IPB i think   I'm pretty sure that feature is in it.

Dodgy power crap

IPB (v2.0.0 PF 3) doesn't have it . SMF (1.0.1) has...

Also you cant see Testing And Trashing.. Its so easy to see if you are not logged in..

on a slightly related note, you can still see T&T posts if you are not logged in.
