It is more a feature request I think.

When you make a new Custom Sound and choose a MP3 file of 90 MB you realy have to wait very long.

There is no Cancel button.

This is with:
Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 6.2.0205
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.50.0124

Request has already been made during beta testing. This might be added in an update sometime...

Thanks for the suggestion though

PS: for now, open the sound into a real sound editor and strip it down there. Remember that the trim function in Messenger Plus! is 'just' a basic sound feature, Plus! isn't a sound editor and never will.

PS2: This isn't a bug but a suggestion, so the correct forum to post this in would have been: "MsgPlus General Talk"

I know MsgPlus isn't a Sound editor
I just Accidentaly opend a File of 90 MB and it is just anoying not be able to cancel it properly (only by killing MSN)

I suggested it cause it realy would make the feature better, cause you will be able to cancel if you open a large file.

first. why isn't there a place like suggestions or some thing
second. on most sites you need to post feature requests in the Bug Tracking system, so I thought I place it there.

truth is, there once was a suggestion forum. But it has been removed because Patchou has already a suggestions-list a few miles long enough to keep himself busy till 2057 (roughly estimated date ). Suggestions to bugfixes can still be made in bug reports (together with the bug of course). But suggestions on their own don't belong there as they have nothing to do with bugs...
