O.P. Custom sounds
I have a growing collection of custom sounds, many sent to my by other users. What I want to know: is there any way of taking the custom sounds sent to me by other users, and saving them as .wav/.mp3/similar files, so I can play them via other applications? I had a search on the forums etc, but yielded nothing...

Simply and short: nope

Reason: this isn't a file sharing feature...

EDIT: they are playable (mp3), but don't go fiddling with them because most likely they will be rejected by the server...

RE: Custom sounds
You can with Sound Forge, Switch and Winamp.
See: Sound error.

The files are stored in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Messenger Plus!\Custom Sounds

Edit: sorry Cookie, we discovered a way to do it ;)

Why use sound forge?

Just open them with winamp or any mp3 player :refuck:

Try opening this window on the main MSNM window.

By going to Plus! => Sound Library

This happens because Plus! will be on top of the window from where you opened it. So if you open it in the main MSNM window, you'll be able to chat with others with no problem. :)
