I've just installed the new Messenger Plus 3.50, and now i can't sign into MSN! I get an error saying that my contacts list is unavailable. I know that Messenger Plus shouldn't cause this problem, but a bit of a co-incidence? How can I get my previous version of Messenger Plus back? (not sure what the version number was, just know that it was the latest before 3.50)

what about updating your msn? im not sure of a link to an olde version but i can upload one if you want...

I've had that a few times before... but after a while it works again. At least it was the case with my Messenger...!

wow thats what i call a fast response!! I have the latest MSN already (6.2.0205 - and i dont want to use the BETA of 7 yet) Thanks for the offer of uploading an older version, that would be appreciated. If i installed the previosu version though, would it retain my plus settings and options?

lol, oh ok. still if you want the older one just ask.... you shouldn't have trouble it might just be the msn servers being slow AFAIK

It's a temporary trouble with the MSN server, nothing to do with the MSN Messenger client or Plus, so when this happens the only thing you can do is wait...

BTW, don't use older versions, they can have problems (and some are useless anyway, the server won't let some old versions to connect).
