when i send a sound on the new MSG Plus! 3.50, it takes at leaset 4-5 seconds for it to send, when last night it was instant?, is this a bug, or just server lag or something?

i dont think it was a bug (Patchou wouldn't have released it), it was happening to me last night aswell.

It's probably one of two things.

the first would be Server Lag. What connection speed do you have? Maybe it sends a packet to your contact containing the url of the sound, and it doesnt show on your side until the packet from your contact is sent back.

Or it may be lag with you. check your processes and such.

or maybe it's inbuilt so you cant flood people with Sounds etc.

It is most likely a bit of server load. At the moment because the release has really only just hit major news sites thousands more people are using the sound system than before. A thousand requests a minute or more.

If you experience a bit of lag then don't worry about it for now.

Some changes have been made to the server, however I don't think it is performing to its full potential so i'm going to take a look at it later.
