i'm not good at explaining in english.. plz see the video
watch the circled time as the marker is slided

A possible reason why that happens is  that the times seen under the trim selection are rounded numbers (and thus not so accurate).

Try double clicking on the selection itself and see what the total and exact time is of the sound. (and report it back here, just for reference)

Also in that detailed trim selection window you can set the times accuratly.

the sound length is exactly 3.990 seconds :)
it is most probably caused by number rounding as you said.

this actually does not effect the behavior of msgplus in the slightest. however perfection, many times, matters :p
