I'm looking for a gd desktop clock/calendar dat just sits on your desktop wallpaper. I've seen it a lot but i'm hard pressed to find a gd one. I've searched all over google.

Can any one recommend an unobtrusive one that workds for them, preferably analogue for the clock.

Desktop X should do the job

Rainlender Is a very good calender app
and Rainmeter (by the same person) is a good widget app that lets you have a clock, amoungst other things

Both i find use less resources than desktop x

Another option is the highly customisable samurize, it may take a while to  work out how to set it up, but it is very good, and doesnt use to many resources
