O.P. Huh?  How Do I Get Rid Of The Background Of Icons On My Desktop?
Hi.
Every now n agen when i change me background the background for the icons on my desktop show up and it looks horrible(Picture Attached) How do i make it so they have no background again?

Go to Control Panel and choose 'System', then the 'Advanced' tab. Under Performance, click the 'Settings' button. Select the tab labelled 'Visual Effects' and click the radio button next to 'Custom'  Scroll down the list until you find 'Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop' and tick it.

Make sure you don't have any active desktop objects enabled, that's what changed it for me.
