O.P. Can't find uninstaller
I updated msn to plus3 and now i want to uninstall it because of the spyware, but I can't find any uninstall file anywhere! not in its directory or in add/remove programms. This is starting to irritate me! How can I remove this garbage???

RE: Can't find uninstaller
plus 3?

where did you get the program from? the official site?? did you have any problems with installation?

there is no way (unless you chose that option) to get the optional sponsor program.

EDIT: http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=42156 follow the directions here given by traxor to remove the sponsor program

RE: Can't find uninstaller
well first of all i want to make it clear that if u downloaded msgplus! from its official site  www.msgplus.net then the program with bundled with it is not spyware it is an adware..
well! u can remove the files from startup of the pc.. if they are starting when ur OS loads.....
u can remove it from start if u r runninf win XP by the typing "msconfig" (without quotes) command in in start>run then a panel appears to change the setting.. go to the startup tab then un the file u dont want to load..:)
i think there is another thread showing the instructions to remove the adware..

If you followed the instructions in the thread Joa gave you and made sure that internet explorer was closed then the sponsor will have been removed.
If you followed those instructions exactly and you still have adware then it likly that it is not the messenger plus sponsor

RE: Can't find uninstaller
Click on start > run > and type in the following

code:
"C:\Programfiler\MessengerPlus! 3\MsgPlus.exe" /Remove

Please note, the spyware that you are refering to is Optional which means that you can choose not to install it. During the install process you do not need to remove Messenger Plus! to uninstall the Sponsor program. By running the uninstaller it will ask to uninstall the sponsor or both the Sponsor and Plus!. I suggest giving Plus! another shot without the sponsor but its your choice.

Edit: Blah Patchou changed the commandline for the uninstaller lmao!

Install with the sponsor. Then uninstall completly. The try and reinstall if you would like to without the sponsor.
