I have installed 'The Blasphemer' for winamp successfully! it displayed the titles of the song as it should be BUT unfortunately this only works for songs with alphabet information! If i play some Chinese, Japanese or Korean songs....it displays some funny squares!!!

can i kindly ask someone to help me out with that please?

I don't think this is a problem with the plugin, but the way MSN reads these characters. Don't think you can do anything about it.

I felt the same the way at the beginning! but since i want to convince me more so i tried to use the Media player to play the same song(say, a chinese song!) it displays the title correctly! NO funny squares anymore,a bit strange?

Yeah you may need to install new language packs, so windows can support the characters in the song

My system info:
WindowsXP Prefessional (Chinese) + Service Pack2
Winamp V5.08d
MSN Messenger 7.0.0777

Msg Plus 3! NOT installed!

When i play the songs use MediaPlayer..It displays fine!But not when using Winamp!

So what the problem might be is GEN_MSN need a language pack?

Or WinAmp needs a language pack. Do the Chinese characters display correctly in WinAmp's playlist window?

Winamp's plugin API is Ascii, this means that Unicode characters (like chinese or korean) are not supported
