I don't really know where to post this, if it's a bug o just something you forgot to think about.
I want to have a message when a specific contact goes online, just one, not everyone, and that function Messenger Plus provides.
But for this to work i have to check the box "activate message window for Messenger Plus" under the "Message" menu. This makes other messages to show too, like when i get mail and so on, and that's kind of annoying...

i suggest you make the function to enable a single contact goes online message without having that box checked.

I see what you mean. I think this would be a good feature to include.

yes, just hoping some one of the developers sees this thread, it could not be that hard to fix right? :)

If I read your post correctly, you want to disable alerts other than plus' one. You can disable them onder options -> alerts and sounds.
Just disable the alerts you want to disable.

Then, you can enable the contact-specific alerts in plus!.

noo, i am talking about the plus feature...
if i check the box under messages in the plus options that enables Plus' messages the popup for just one contact works, but i get OTHER messages from PLUS too. very annoying. i want the function to work without having to check that box!

I've just been trying some things out with plus! and I think that if you disable all things under notifications in plus preferences, but check the custom sign in notifications under popup defaults, notifications, plus preferences, u can right click on a contact, go to messenger plus! extras , notifications and check contact signs in. This will enable it for specific contacts but wont have any other popups.

no then the popup do not show when the contact logs in!

yes, the pop3 alerts.
i want it to check my email and enable me to open my outlook by clicking the mail button but not get any notifications
to do that i have to uncheck the box about plus notifications, and then the contact popup do not show.
see the problem?
