try this, when msn is signing you in minimize the window to the tray icon (so press X on the right top corner). than wait for about 20 seconds up to 1  minute, open the contact list and there should be no problems. (getting apatch can help because you can sign in from the tray icon. http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=38398 )

while chatting, try to keep the contact list window minimized :-/ or else it will most likely crash.

i experienced this on my other computer. there seems to be some sort of problem with loading the msn main (contact list) window while chatting and signing in :|

sorry, there seems to be no solution. it will start working ok just at a random point.

EDIT: make sure that any "contact list" formating options (such as custom nicknames) etc. are not enabled. Disable them. it should help you out.

stil showing the same Problem

I guess you will have to go back and stick with 6.2 for a while, it only happens on 7.0 i assume?... Personally I already would have format my pc, but not everyone is such a format-freak like I am ;) never mind
But that is my opinion!

I would just keep trying by changing settings and stuff. Open plus preferences and disable the enhance the contact list with plus! features.

Also, go to plugins in preferences and check the box at the top about plus! loading plugins to see if it's a plugin problem.
