O.P. [request] use old versions
I want a plugin that removes the you cannot use this version of messenger, please upgrade to the latest version to be able to sign in... 
I do not have access to the admin account on my pc and are locked out of messenger on that computer :'(

you can use WebMessenger : http://webmessenger.msn.com

now i dont know if there is a plugin but id suggest you to stick to webmessenger, old msn version might not be 100% secure ;-)

I also need msn 4 for a bot I use, and it isn't compatible with later versions. 
prehaps there is a patch that could be made

a bot for msn 4 ?
you dont mean windows messenger?
msn Messenger 4 is too old, i dont think there is a way to use it, what does the bot do?

There is a tool in creation it was mentioned on the MSN Blog http://msnblog.stuffplug.com unfortunately TB's hosting has run out of bandwidth for this month
