Hi, I'm new.
I searched for an answer but I couldn't find one here. Sorry if you already talked about it.
My friend on msn installed the final version of MSN 7, and me too.
but when I send him a "wizz", it works on my computer, but he says it doesn't for him. he doesn't received it and his window doesn't shake.
is there a missing plug-in or something to install?

Don't you mean a wink?

Are your friend using a patch?, some patches can disable Nudges.
or maybe your friend has disable Nudges via Messenger's Preferences

Probable solurion: tell your friend to:

Personal Settings>>Messages>>Check off "Allow Me to send and recieve Nudges"

sorry, I don't know what they use in the english version since I'm in France and they call it "wizz"

I told him to do that but he says it still doesn't work.
he says it worked when he installed it a few days ago, but then, it didn't. He doesn't know what could have stop it

did he used any patch like messpatch....... which disable the nudges....

no he didn't do anything on msn messenger since he installed it

maybe his status was busy... If it is on busy then nudges wont work.

Maybe it's just a problem with the corrupt .exe?

Tell him to uninstall MSN Messenger in add/remove programs, then go to C:/Program Files and delete the folder "MSN Messenger".

Then download the latest installer from http://messenger.msn.com and install...

Use the newly downloaded installer, not an old one...
