Shoutbox

Is there a plugin (perhaps in development) that facilitates tabbed message windows (a la firefox tabbed browsing)? I've tried the various tabbed plugins for 6.0+ builds, and they don't seem to be compatible with 7.0

I just really hate the clutter of a million message windows.

he doesnt mean those tabs. He mean the one in the message window.

It doesn't work for me (cameo) -- i get the following errors:


Cameno: Run-time error '7': Out of memory.

and

Tabbed MSN: System Error . . .  Class does not exist

As for the Tabbed msn - it doesn't work with 7.0 afaik

I know that cameno should be working with msn 7.0 but i never use it because its buggy

Have you tryed uninstalling 7.0, then reinstalling 7.0, then installing cameno?

Just wait a little while, hopefully the next development release of SPNG2 will have tabbed conversations

And/or the next release of Phoenix.
Given Fukafly's latest post, I think I'll drop plans for tabbed convos.

i don't think that it will work with MSN7 as it was coded for previous builds of Messenger which AFAIK had different class names, hence the error of 'Class does not exist'

In MSNM6, the class of the main window was MSNMSBLClass IIRC, and in MSNM7, it's MSBLClass.

Well Patchou released some code that would make the tabbed conversations work in boss mode or locked so i think TB's building that into SPNG 2.3/2.4
