O.P. Big Problem!! [working now]
Firstly, I installed a program on my computer and I restarted my pc and it started fixing something on the blue screen before you log into windows.

Then I couldn't get onto the logon screen so I went into safe mode and uninstalled the program. The colour quality was very low and the resolution was small.

After that, I got to the login screen, the resolution was as small as it could be and the colour quality was 4-bit!

I right clicked on desktop, properties > settings and tried changing the colour qwuality back to the highest (32-bit). I click on Ok and it says "are you sure you want to keep it like this?" But nothing has changed...? The same for Resolution.

Here's a screenshot of it.

Please help!

"are you sure you want to keep it like this?" did you click on "yes" ?
Also you need to restart your pc after you changed the color depth for the changes to come into effect.

I clicked on yes. I'll see what I can do...

Edit: Restarted. No change.
When I click on apply/ok it just goes back to the low res and 3-bit

Hmmz, restore your pc to the nearest restore point, and then try to figure out what went wrong...
But that is my opinion!

I don't use system restore because of a couple of reasons.

The program I installed was System Mechanic® 5 Professional

How do i reinstall my graphics card? I have nvidia nforce?
Do you think I should reformat my pc?

RE: Big Problem!!
Hmm, why don't you use system restore?

Do as BEWARE^^ suggested and reinstall the graphics card first if you still have the CD, if you usually you can find a driver installation download from the graphics card website. I suggest giving that a try first.

And maybe have a quick check on windows update before, maybe an update may fix the problem.:^)
