O.P. Undecided  Is this supposed to happen?
If i go MSN, then Plus! Preferences, I see this:

But if i go to Windows Messenger, and then Plus! Preferences, I see this:

Is there supposed to be a Hide Advertisement Banner in Windows Messenger?

The option to hide the advertisement banner is still available for older versions of MSN Messenger and for Windows Messenger (I believe it also has an ad); it's just unavailable for MSN Messenger 7. This behaviour is correct.
