O.P. Huh?  "Idle" and "Away"
What is the difference between "Idle" and "Away"? Thanks.

RE: "Idle" and "Away"
Away is the status as you manually set it, Idle is an automated away after a period of inactivity; Messenger shows both as "Away", although you can change that with Resource Hacker. You can read more about it at different between away and idle.

O.P. RE: "Idle" and "Away"
Ok, so when a contact shows as "Away" it might mean he's still there but intentionally set the status as "Away", whereas if it shows "Idle" it means 100% that he's not using the PC, right?
When patching with A-Patch I enabled the option to distinguish between Idle and Away, so some of my contacts now show as Idle and some as Away.

Ok, yes . I've read some of those threads and I see that it's not a 100% certainty.
Thanks for the info.
