RE: Portable Plus
Think this might work, but not sure:
Try out extracting Risico Messenger and copying the Messenger Plus! files (from the folder under Program Files) onto your USB-stick.
You could then use Apploader to create a single executable to start it.

If apploader doesn't work you could always just make a bat-file. ;-)

Lol yeah but i dunno how to :P

Basically I need to get MSN and Plus! working together without being installed on the computer, and preferbly in one application that can be run without installing anything. We're prevented from installing anything :(

Creating a bat-file is really simple.
Just open notepad, type in the code and save it with extension .bat.
code:
@echo off
MsgPlus.exe
MsnMsgr.exe

This should work if you have everything in the same folder. ;-)

.zip File Attachment: StartUp.zip (153 bytes)
This file has been downloaded 266 time(s).

RE: Portable Plus
im pretty sure Messenger Plus! needs values that are inserted into the
registry on startup. like your preferneces and stuff. so unless you
have access to the registry, you can't do it.

otherwise you could make a .reg file from the preferences you use at home, and use that bat file. goodluck.

There is also another new crap "portable" (mind the quotes) Messenger called "Messenger Live", this is exactly the same as "Risico Messenger" and again, please read what I have to say about it: http://forum.mess.be/index.php?showtopic=8132

Not only that, but Messenger Plus! and especially MSN Messenger needs also access to other directories on the hard drive...

Because of all this, there is no such thing as a "portable" MSN Messenger...
The best (and safest) thing you can do is to use a web messenger. If that doesn't work (because of restricted access or what not) then such portable messengers as described above will CERTAINLY not work...

and then people complain how others get their info and email addresses and stuff... *sigh*
