O.P. Dual installation folders...
Forgive me if this has been asked before...

But has anyone else gotten two installation folders when installing/updating MSG Plus such as:

Program Files\MessengerPlus! 3
Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3

??

I have a screenshot available if needed.

That tends to happen if the installer can't overwrite the old files. You can always uninstall Plus, remove the 'duplicate' folders, then install Plus again.

Actually raceprouk the real reason is because some adware programs would give dangerous alerts if Plus! was trying to overwrite the old files so to save the hassel Patchou has it install to a different directory.

Well, the only thing I've done with it, was to delete the folder not being used.  Didn't seem to harm anything, was merely curious.

Yeah, if you notice, the new installer now installs to this different directory by default. Nothing to worry about, its suggested you remove the old directory.
