I learned today that Microsoft has opened a Public Beta for ThreeDegrees, there new MSN Messenger/Instant Communicate Software.  This news come a few days after popular source Mess.be announced it.

Although I have no current interviews, Neowin.net has an official beta available.  I am unsure if three degrees is public at this time.

Basically 3 Degrees adds the ability to have a group of people that you trust, like MSN Messenger.  You can send winks to there desktop and share music with them and chat with them, of course.  It requires Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 1.  It also requires an Update to using Networks on Windows. THIS IS NEW TECHNOLOGY FROM MICROSOFT
