i was on msna nd i clicked on a contact to open a convo but then msn messenger just closed instantly wiht a loud error soudn but no error and this is teh second time in a row

u might wanna restart ur machine..and if it still does that then search for further info

are you using any conversation editing functions..

just as a patched windows (removing buttons etc)

if so it could be corrupted, and you should repair messenger

if u r using file transfer (msgplus! plugin) then disable it and chk ur problem.. if it doesnt fix then disable all the plugins and chk again,..
