Hello,

the new public version will be released this weekend... I really do not want to release something bad to all my users so I'm asking you for the last time... please, download version 2.01.22 at http://207.44.212.108/~admin3/MsgPlusDebug.zip and play with it as much as you can before next saturday. The things I would like all of you to test most are:

• close chat windows often and see if it doesn't crash
  
• assign sounds (wav and mp3) to your contacts and see if it works as expected
  
• close and reopen the Messenger window often and see if it doesn't crash
  
• exit Messenger sometimes and see if it doesn't crash
  
• use a maximum of multi-format tags with emoticons and confirm that everything is displayed correctly.

Please reply to this post if any problem arises. A screenshot is always appreciated. Thank you, have a nice day!

Did you try different mp3 files? I would really like you to send me the "C:\MessengerPlus Dump.txt" is a zip file to debug2018@patchou.com ... it will contain the error code and I'll be able to know why the file couldnt be played.

patchou, maybe add a stop button plz? cuz i selected one hell of a large mp3 file by mistake, and then i had to through the whole song, which was very annoying =)

Thats weird... mp3 files are supposed to be played for a maximum of 12 seconds (by default) .... coudl you confirm this is not the case?

Mine goes on forever and ever..it just goes till the end of the song..then the next song starts if someone else signs in...the bad part is that if two people who i assign sound sign in...within a 4 minute span i get like all these sounds...and then after like15-20 secs i get signed  of msn

Patchou..the bug is fixed in the 2.01.19..but bot in the newest 2.0122

Well, it's a good thing you posted a reply on thisold thread: this problem will be definitively be fixed in the next release (As long as every other sound related issues).
