A runtime error has occured. Do you wish to debug?
Line: 372
Error: Library not registered

This occurres everytime i sign in to msn messenger. It pops up 4 times before it goes away and then after it goes away, messenger crashes when i try to open any chat window. I have tried everything from uninstalls, no patches, no plus, to installed plus and patches and nothing seems to get rid of this error. This problem only started to come up when i upgraded to msn7. but it doesnt matter which version of 7 i use, the problem still persists. It is driving me crazy. i never had this problem with messenger 6, but i just can't go back to that, i need 7 to work properly. Has anybody here expierienced this same problem. How do I rectify it? Thanks

You only need to post once. (http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=44...d=464540#pid464540)

Run this program I have attached.
Select your email
Change to No
Click Change
Exit the Program
Run MSN Messenger. If the problem persists then let us know. But it sounds like a Plugin for Plus! is causing this.

.exe File Attachment: PluginSettingChange.exe (32 KB)
This file has been downloaded 335 time(s).

Its ok.

Try and exit MSN Messenger (CTRL+ALT+DEL). (End msnmsgr.exe and MsgPlus.exe)

After doing so reload MSN Messenger and see if the problem persists.

Could you also post a screenshot of the error please?

For future reference use the [Image: edit.gif] button to edit your posts instead of making multiple ones in a row it is against the forum rules.

Now try this:
Start > (Settings) Control Panel > Double Click Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Put a checkmark beside Disable Script Debugging > Apply > Ok.

Now try and use MSN Messenger

Now you said you reinstalled MSN Messenger? It seems that it might be a problem with the feature where it gets the Windows Media Player song title. I suggest completly uninstalling MSN Messenger, restarting and redownloading/installing the latest version.
