Does he graphics card require an external power source? When I built a friends computer we were stumped for about 20 minutes before we found a power cable for the graphics card.
Put it this way its very easily done to damage anything to do with computers.I remember my mum making herself a computer out of a kit. It was working fine and when she changed case something blew her motherboard up and everything connected to it!!!

i no exactly wot the problem is. i found out that sum1 i no had the EXACT same problem. it turns out that the processor has died. so my m8 is getting a new processor and motherboard free of charge
