Well here's my 2nd beta release for today, this time it's the plugin discused in Recent Files

It's probally going to be called Recent Files or File Resender or something.

It's not fully working yet, but the button should get added and files sent by dragging them onto the conversation should be logged.

Known Issues

• Doesn't currently support files sent via Send Files button
  
• causes a bit of lag when conversation window is resized
  
• small delay before the button is added - this was done purposly
  
• when you bring up the list of sent files, you cant resend them, i havent added that yet
  
• it looks like crap

It's not read for release yet, but people keep bugging me asking about it so if you really want to have a look at progress, now you can.

Zip file attached with DLL and Reg file.  Copy DLL to Plugins folder, regsvr32 it and add Dempsey.RF to RegisteredPlugins in the registry.

Note: if you didn't understand the last line, don't install the plugin, it's not for n00bs and is a Beta version

Great work Dempsey! I've been looking forward to this release. It records the files fine so no problems there.

One thing though, when the recent files window shows, there is a box to the left of the file name which is blank. Is this for a file type icon?

yea that will have a preview if its an image or movie or the file icon otherwise

The button won't show up for me , I correctly installed the plugin and it's visible on the plugins list.

And another thing, if you click About it's says it's patchou his sample vb plugin dll

EDIT. nvm, the button is showing now... No idea why it wouldn't show..., but it's not correctly aligned. It's on top of some other buttons.

Do you have a skinned msn and have you patched?

Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 7.0.0777
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.54.0132

And it's not skinned, but it is patched.

And sometimes it still doesn't show, but when I resize a little it appears...

Also another thing, that pop-up window appeared somewhere on the other side of my screen , and when I moved it towards the chatscreen it disappeared behind it.

so it appears sometimes but not others?

Yup, sometimes it just doesn't show, but when I resize a little it appears on top of another button.

hmm ok i still need to work on the button adding code then

when will the final version be relised? (i dont know how to install it)
