I'm not sure if this is already a feature or not on MSN or MSG Plus! but i thought i might be cool: being able to change the MSN Messenger window (the one with the contact) change colours, like how it is in the conversation window.

i have wanted to do this kind of thing before and have tried editing it to do so but it appears the colorise function is only loaded in the conversation window
either that or it has a different command id but im too lazy and busy to experiment with it too much at the mo.

i may try again some day because colorising the contact list should be possible

There used to be a patch let used to chnage the background image to whatever you want

You dont need a patch to change the background image.
You can do it yourself, see Madman's reply to background

Although Beca didnt specifically ask for a way to change the background (dispite the thread title)

inside the conversation windows there is a "colorise" button that changes the color scheme of the whole window

beca wants this feature in the contact list

btw, for the image just put a gif file called lvback.gif in the MSN Messenger directory

i tried that to, but the colorize menu refuses to pop up...
though there's a solution for that,
if someone could make a loader that has a colorizer build in that can colorize the original images and replace them in the memory should do the trick...

well im taking another look at this now because im bored so if i manage to do anything ill post it here
