Hey all, I'm learning assembler at University, and my teacher talked about this tool "W32Dasm" that is a disassembler. I try to install it, but no luck. When I run it and disassemble a program, weird characters appear, like when viewing a strange language.

I'm using Windows XP SP2 in English; thank you in advance for your help,

In my experience, you shouldn't even have to "install" Win32Dasm. My guess is that it's using a font that you do not have installed. Goto the Disassembler menu, Font and select another one (like Courier New).

yep, for somereason the default font for me was wingdings


just follow patch's orders

file-> font -> times new roman etc?

some thing clear..

Make the font Terminal!

Oh and you might find ollydbg useful also.
