O.P. event log window does not log until first view
Hi,

The Event Log Window does not start logging events until I open it for the first time via menu Plus! > Event Log Window.

So, these are my steps:
1. Windows boots
2. auto-sign in at startup
3. wait for some people to sign in, change status etc (so events happen)
4. open menu Plus! > Event Log Window
5. BUG: Event Log is empty.
6. close the window and wait for some more new events
7. open menu Plus! > Event Log Window
8. now, events are logged.

EDIT: Note that when you sign out and back in again, the same bug occures.

specs:
MSN  7.0.0813
Plus! 3.54.132
Windows xp pro SP2

note:
this bug also occures with previous msn messenger versions, for the same !Plus version, and, it was present in previous !Plus versions, too.
I use a lot of Hibernation in Windows, so I didn't really had any trouble often. However, since the post at http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=46159&pid=481775 I felt like posting the bug anyways :)

RE: event log window does not log until first view
This is done by design.... this way, people who never use this feature don't see their memory/cpu use growing for nothing. One possible workaroudn is to log all the events in a file, that will always work, window or not :).
