You never know though. Now 200GB seems a lot for most people, but maybe in about 10 years that will be considered quite small. I can't begin to imagine what could take up that space, but thats what people thought when hard drive spaces where measured in MB.

Anyway, what about a monsterbyte? Sounds good to me.

i would imagine films at increasingly high quality could very easily take up that space....

as for suggestions of new names... how's about:
OMFGthatsfrickinhugeabyte

edit:

ok i've realised my suggestion is stupid... so i've abbreviated it to:

OMFGTFHbyte  ;) :p

It only goes the best if you have the funky animated S in it ;) haha... Of course.... But yeah... on the subject ;)... A computer with that much space would be really awesome! Think of how fast it would work.

amout of space doesn;t affect the pc speed. The processor and ram type/size does

But if you're like me and have your computer full of junk music that I never listen to, and since it's shared also has other junk things that nobody uses, it doesn't have much memory and programs are running almost constantly with alot of strain on the system.

Yeah, look at Hi-Res HDTV, even when compressed it can be around 1.4gb for a good looking 45 minute TV show.
