Has anyone used Google Sitemaps I'm thinking of adding some code to MPSounds.net so that when new soundpacks are added, google will index the new page quicker, but I just wondered if anyone has used it before?

well google list you high anyway and it's my 2nd most visted bot next to the msn one. a tip for anyone is add more meta tags and use the google serach bar and keep going to your site and soon more bots will visit, but for you it may be different this is gaenral tip for anyone

yea i know, but theres no harm into looking into using it and also I'm sure I read that google have allowed other search engines to use it too.

did you notice any difference in how often your site was spidered or how quick new pages were added?

i said that for people with low hits, i'm top of msn serach with some msn messenger things so i dont care about doing that

i rarely post on that only when i create new scripts that i think people could use , so i dont really know.

but Its susposed to let it spider your pages faster because it knows their there. google also released sitemaps as a standerd (or atleast tried to when i last heard) so Im susprised as to why msn search etc hasnt intergrated that into their own search stuff.

they are improving, but google is great because without advertising it gets soooooooo many hits
