I have some files that I think are corrupt, I can't rename them or anything, because there is no option, the only options are to play in winamp/windows media player and stuff, no delete or anything, it's weird.

But when i try and delete the folder that they're in, I get this error:



Does anybody know how I can delete these... I've tried Safe Mode etc.

is any program using them? check task manager it may help. Are they protected or something else that you may of done. If not they are cupport and i'll google a sloution for you

reanme the extention and try deleting in safe mode again

I can't rename the files or edit them in anyway, I get the error that it "cannot read the source file or disk".

is it read only, if so untick and try again, i can't think of much

you could try downloading a file with the same name and extension worth a try

The file is simply a corrupt MP3, I have never came across this before, I can't rename the file or delete the file.

I can't seem to change it from read only either...

Have you run scandisk? It should correct the errors so you can delete them.
