hey guy, anyone before thought if it's possible to know what conversation window is opend by our contact.

means is he looking at my conversation window, or no he's typing or waitting on another conversation window.

i'm sure this needs a software on his PC. but it may not.

There used to be a feature in MSN Messenger 6 using the Plugin StuffPlug for Messenger Plus!, but since then, the MSN servers have changed, and a plugin or program like this is no longer possible, as it would not only detect an open window, but things like downloading contact cards, display pictures etc.

No we can't. Before the MSN7 came along, we could see if someone opened a conversation window to us or if they closed it. Now, the same connection is used for downloading of DP etc.

So, we can't tell anymore. Unless the plugin/program/Plus! sends it's own little message to the other person (who must be using the same plugin/program/Plus!) it might work. But it can also make a mess of things.

I'm afraid this is can only really be fixed by the people at MSN. For now, you'll have to stick with the unreliable notifiers.

Perhaps it wouldn't sound so bad if you didn't use the word victim..
