Hi,

My e-mail account suddenly this morning told me my password was incorrect, which was news to me as I haven't changed it. Unfortunatly it seems as if someone else has. Is there any way I can get my account back, as I made it some 2 years ago and have not idea what my secret question is...

I have no idea why someone would change my password, and I swear I wasn't drunk

you have no idea what your secret question is? or what the answer is? you can find out what the question is by going to login and it should give you the link

are you sure caps lock or num lock isnt on?

An error in your sign in name?
An error in your password?

just check you'd be surprised how many errors are from caps lock or small things like that

email microsoft?

There are no errors in my sign in name, num and caps lock are off. I have tried another computer too and got into another account of mine. I'll just try again to make sure again....


Result the same the password I've always used is incorrect. (Because the sign in name is spelt right)

Are you trying to sign into hotmail or MSN Messenger?

Tried both, and both are the same incorrect username or password.

What specific error message do you get?

Sign in failed.
