On my computer I have a cd drive, and a dvd/cd ReWritable/Recordable.  THe dvd drive works great, but everytime I insert a cd in the regular cd drive, my computer freezes.  Then if I eject the cd, my computer runs fine again  Any suggestion on how to fix this?

try opening up your computer and make sure the connections are secure.

I have tried this and all the wires are connected fine  It doesn't freeze up if I put a blank cd in, don't know if that is useful information though...
