Hello there!!!

In the Thread about the new patches, i wrote that i would put some new threads around.. so here goes!!

Make Messenger Plus more popular with some crazy patch-options for the MSN Messenger, like REMOVE Advertisements (it was available when the MSN Messenger 5 came out to play)!

options for patchin' in msgplus:
• Remove Advertisements
• Button "Add Contact" replacing
• Different Media Players supporting (showing what you listen)
• MsgPlus-Tab adding & TabServ Support

And like more crazy stuff...    oh well it's a SUGGESTION

Patching MSN Messenger is not legal which is why those suggetions will most likely not be included.
We have A-Patch, Mess Patch, Ghost Patch and StuffPlug for that
But the last 2 features is legal afaik

patchou used to have the ad's removed until microsoft and him joined up and decided not to

some options could be made a soft patch like stuffplug does

The 'Remove Ads' option was removed as Messenger has ads to make money, just like Plus! has the sponsor package to make money. However, you can use a plugin like StuffPlug-NG, or a patch like Mess Patch.
Replacing the 'Add Contact' button - not sure what can do this.
There are numerous plugins for other media players. A quick search will reveal some for Winamp at least.
TabServ is already serviced by a patch.

Besides, Patchou won't do any patching, as it's against the Messenger EULA.

The add contact button can be changed into many things first the png will be changed to something you want and then you can use the code for the command. You can see what each command is in msglang.dll and then chnanged the uifile to fit the command number e.g 62156 sound dodgy but it's a way

I've done this in a few things myself

Please can you guys add a shortcut in the addon, so that i can easily startup NetMeeting again with MSN Messenger like it use to could in the v6 and earlier?
