It refers to switching the tabs in a grouped convo window. The problem is it is a beta and you can't take that beta as final status of the application. SO don't suggest things based on beta-features. Also that has been added already, fyi.
Can be done with the A-Patch as already mentioned... also I advice people not to do this... ... one time me and my friend were using polygamy at my house, his msn wouldn't let him use the enter key to send, but mine would... he had to click send everytime... haha sucked to be him.

then there was something beeped up with the polygamy patch/msn messenger as polygamy breaks nothing of that kind.
