O.P. Desktop Contact not Hiding when Offline
I searched the forums, posted my question in other threads, and even tried the live chat, but have yet to find or receive an answer to this issue.

I have one contact that, if I keep them on my desktop, they do not disappear when I select the option to hide depending on status. I often do this to watch fullscreen videos, and the one name stays up even if they are offline (the usual status setting I use). I know for a fact that they are actually offline, and not just appearing offline. I have tested it with all of my other contacts, but none of the others have the problem. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Currently running:
MSN Messenger 7.5.0299
MSGPlus! 3.54.132
Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 1

Also had issue with previous public MSN Messenger version. In other words, it seems that the issue has been around since the latest version of MSGPlus! came out with the desktop contacts and the option to hide them.

That's why: the current Plus! isn't fully compatible. Plus you may want to get Service Pack 2 ;)

Can you tell me if this contact has anything particular? does he have a proper email? is he a "mobile only" contact? etc... please email me at mplus@patchou.com about this problem.

Thanks.

When the contact goes offline is it properly recorded in the Event Log?

Yes, though the last time they were actually online was 33 days ago.

Just bumping to see if anything had come up on this topic. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
