O.P.  Notifications for Blocked Contacts
I was wondering whether Popup Notification and/or Sound Notification are possible for blocked contacts. Thanks.

Yeah that would be great. I've done a search on the forum (I've seen it posted here a couple times) but I'm pretty sure there isn't a plugin or workaround for this.
Maybe someone else might be able to help you a little more...

For when they login? I don't think that's possible. Also they are blocked because you don't want to talk to them  .

Yeah, but sometimes it's nice to know when they log in, just in case you forget their blocked and feel like unblocking them... Or if you wanna tell somebody that might be talking to both of you to not say anything if your online or not...
Personally I don't like notifications with blocked contatts... but those are some of the uses that other people find useful. |

Go to Tools then Options and then Privacy, and you can view who you have blocked, but you will only be able to see if they are online so long as you unblock them first, of course, hope this helps.   ICQ: 125470635

we know about that option.. what they want is a popup to appear when they log on, just like it does when someone you havent blocked comes online

Yeah, but that's kinda a hastle... I mean if he doesn't wanna turn on and off the notification for that contact based on their blocked status... He just wants all blocked contacts in general to get notifications. |
