Hey all, is there anyway to save custom sounds sent to you by others as an audio file?

You can copy the .dat file to another folder and simply rename it to mp3. More info: Cookie's reply to how to export sounds to formats?

If you want to convert complete soundpacks you can use Segosa's Sound Pack Extractor.
