How would I mute the volume on WinAmp but not mute my computer volume?

I streaming with shoutcast and I want to listen to other stuff not the stuff I'm sreaming. How do I mute WinAmp without turning my comp volume down?

On winamp you should see the volume control... Slide it to the end, or you could click on the little audio icon and it will mute... This shouldn't mute the computer volume....

It does, it turns the Wave all the way down in the Play Control.

EDIT:

I fixed it, I had to switch WinAmp to Direct sound.
