the new version of messenger plus is causing connection problems in msn messenger 7.5.0306. when these are both running i might sometimes get connected but after a while messenger crashes and can't sign back in again even when messenger server status says its ok. however if i then disable messenger plus and retry connectiing i get back on no problems. this suggests plus is not compatable with build 0306. i do admit to the possability it could be the new stuffplug beta as it was designed for 0303 but md x2 can't be the prob as it wasn't available until yesterday and ive had the problem since plus and 0306 were launched. patchou can you look into this?

windows xp sp2
msn messenger 7.5.0306
plus 3.60.144
messengerdiscovery x2 beta
stuffplug ng 2.2.397 beta

The crash can certainely be related to an unstable version of Stuffplug (you'll ahve to check with TB about that). As for connection, today was not a good day to test it as MSN was experiencing a lot of issues so it could jsut have been a coincidence.

In any case, a new update of Plus! will be released tomorrow

apparently there are a couple of major bugs in the latest release... i havent experienced any but obviously a few ppl have

ok patchou thanks i will try and bring the issue up with tb and see what he says. regarding the connection problems there was a similar thing on an article on mess.be i just figured it was my problem and noone had figured out the cause yet but if it is an msn glitch then yes might not having been good testing yesterday. anyways thanks for the new update when its released i haven't encountered any of the other problems yet but i don't really using floating contacts or windowblinds o maybe thats why.

i think there's going to be a new release of stuffplug some time in the near future (like in the next week or so) i cant be sure on a date... but TB did hint tbat it was close

yes stuffplug 3 with no ng this time is being writen but he gave no dates for release
