Play Need For Speed Underground NOT in fullscreen

Is it possible to play NFSU not in fullscreen? Normally I can add " -window" to the end of the target in the shortcut properties, but it's not working for this game. Does anyone has an idea how I could do this?

also I just read this somewhere

Start the game with the "-window" command line parameter. Note: This cannot be used with a 3D accelerators.
