I was trying to connect to the msgplus website and it is down here.....anyone else have that problem?

Indeed, I can't access it either. I've also tried to access it with a few proxies from random locations around the world. It seems extremely likely that the problem is on the website's end (likely either the server it's stored on, or the ISP the site uses). Also there is already a thread about this (made before this one);

Yup its up again .... but why does that happen in the 1st place
Is it a maintainace thing or is it some long term issue for which a solution could not be found up to now ??

How about we just leave it at, It was down, and now it's up.
