O.P. Huh?  How to tranfer emoticons and smileys to new hard drive
I cleaned installed WinXP in a new drive (the current one) and I'm using the old corrupted windows drive as a 2nd drive. I had in that old drive 3 MSN accounts each with lots of smileys and emoticons. How can I transfer those emoticons/smileys to my new drive? Thanks.

Fusion:
- Yes, the old hard drive is now acting as a 2nd HD in my PC and all data is accessible (in fact I was able to transfer all of "My Documents", Outlook Express folders, etc etc.
- Say my email es "perfdlsoe@hotmail.com", would "user" in the address you mention be "perfdlsoe" or the number string equivalent?

Fusion, one more thing. You said:
"And then use a program like Msn Backup to export them, and then re-import them."
Actually I would only need to Import the data using MSN Backup for example, since the data is what I would transfer from my 2nd drive, right?

Fusion, I already have all my MSN data from the 2nd drive in my main drive. Could you explain more specifically what do you mean by your statement I'm quoting? Could you detail the procedure with MSN Backup? I tried it and MSN Backup does not seem to detect the winks and emoticons I transferred. Thanks.

Hi. Does it work with MSN v7.5 ?
I tried using v1.1.7 to export my emoticons but it didn't found ANY ^o)

Most probably I made some mistake, but wasn't able to export anything.

Thanks for any tips

I reinstalled my XP a while ago, and used MSN Backup 1.1.7 to back up everything from my MSN Messenger-account before formatting my C-drive. After installation I imported the backup, but when I send an emoticon the person I am talking to is not able to "steal" them. Any solution to this? I don't have the dat-files from the old C:\Document and Settings\... etc.
