you know how you can go to whos online the complete list well theres guests looking at posts and printing them off and in front of them the have either the yahoo sighn msn or google and they are called like msn bot what are they and what do they do?

Err... why would you want your own web spider unless you were a search engine?

ahaha i just might have a search engine so to answer my question where do you go to get one?

oh and u no these spiders how come they print off things dont they just transmitt the page back to the database?

I dunno. Most search engines use their own proprietary software.

Well, they follow links, including the links that say "View a Printable Version." They're not actually printing anything, but rather just downloading pages.
