well its been awhile since ive made a thread...i think...but anyways i got an error trying to play a game and i was wondering how do i know if my drivers are installed properly?...i have i set to 16 bit

well reinstall your drivers, or if you dont, get the latest ones and install them. thats probably the best way to do it

well first off, what is the manufacturer of your graphics card (usually ATi or nVidia)
and what type and model of the card (for example, ATi - ATi Radeon 9800 or nVidia - Geforce MX 5100)

not sure...lol how would i find out?

right click your desktop, properties. settings tab. underneath the picture box theres a drop down menu called "Display"

what does it say there?

what OS are you using?
