RE: folder size
WinDirStat will show you this. You tell it which volumes or folders to scan, and when it's done, it shows you it all the files graphically, as well as a folder tree, with sizes, percentages and a bar graph. It is cost free and licensed under GNU GPL 2.

Doesnt right click and properties do it for you .... it does for me when i need to search where i lost my space which is once every 2 - 3 months

It does, but it is fiendishly slow and inefficient. WinDirStat (and I assume TreeSize Free) will scan the size fo everything once, and once it is done, you can check the usage for each file or folder very easily, and it is also shown as a graph.
