No

Type this

(You): Hi
(Your friend): Hey
!imitate hello i'm a bit weird
(Your friend): hello i'm a bit weird
(Your friend): I didnt say that!

If you let your contact type first it can hook the font/color/style/format of his text.

This is a bit offtopic but is there anyway to bind "!imitate" to "/imitate" ?

Yes, use MsgPlus's Quicktext feature... :)
Should do it...

I'm not sure, but I don't suspect so, because (!N) is only passed through MsgPlus! when it has been typed in a conversation window... Though you can make a quicktext and have the shortcut key Alt + 1, or something, and the text would be "/xchatnick (!N)", you would then just have to press the Alt + 1 key everytime you talk to a new contact...
