Whenever I recieve a file I get an error saying virus scan could not be completed. I recently installed and uninstalled Norton Antivirus, which might have caused this. That's not the problem at the moment. I went into MSN's Options menu to turn off automatic scanning (which I assume is causing the error), but encountered an entirely new problem - I can't get into any of the tabs. I can use the Personal tab, which is initially displayed, just fine, but when I click to go to any of the other tabs, nothing happens. I tried reinstalling. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Disable Stuffplug's tab manager and try again

It's a known bug between Stuffplug and the latest version of MSN Messenger. TB knows about it and has plans to deal with it, but it may not happen any time soon due to other responsibilities he has. Keep your fingers crossed for an update, though.

yes Stuffplugs Tab Manager was also stuffing up woth my msn, but i just disabled it since i hardly every use Tab Manager. Is there an unofficial patch we can get for it or not?

There is currently no patch related to that specific problem (as far as I have seen). As of now, the only options are either leaving the Tab Manager disabled, or disabling it each time you want to access the options then re-enabling it once you are done.

i think ill just leave it disabled, that sounds very annoying to do everytime
